"I donated to the Children's Legacy Center because I believe in their groundbreaking model that aims to protect at-risk and trafficked children. By supporting the CLC, we can make a difference and give these vulnerable children the protection and care they deserve." -Brian Berg, Children’s Legacy Center Donor for NSGT 2023
Giving Tuesday is a movement that began in 2012 to promote charitable giving during the Thanksgiving holiday season. It has become an international phenomenon with billions of dollars donated online to nonprofit organizations on the first Tuesday following Thanksgiving Day. The Community Foundation of the North State developed and launched North State Giving Tuesday (NSGT) in 2014 as an online networking and giving event for Shasta, Siskiyou, and Tehama county nonprofits.
We are humbled to be receiving over $3,600 for the Children’s Legacy Center and a whopping $31,245 for One SAFE Place!
We appreciate the enthusiastic response from the over 125 individual supporters who donated.
