Meet Shauna!
A military veteran with a master’s degree in social work, Shauna is the powerhouse behind the administration of our STRTP (Short-Term Residential Therapy Program), which champions support for youth with high-complex needs in a trauma-informed residential setting.
Shauna's drive to help people is steadfast. From her previous work aiding individuals with disabilities, to now assisting victims and youth who have been exposed to significant trauma, her dedication knows no bounds.
"The work my team does is deeply fulfilling. Knowing that the care we provide can drastically change the path for these youth – I can’t overstate how much it means – to us and for their futures. I’ve never had a day where I did not want to come to work, and that means a lot to me.”
The CLC’s Legacy House is a sanctuary where youth find stability, robust mental health services, and tailored care plans, kickstarting their journey toward healing.
"The compassion and dedication of this team towards those we serve is awe-inspiring." Despite the heart-wrenching challenges her clients have faced, Shauna's unwavering positivity shines through.
"There's always hope."
