For many years, Sierra Pacific Industries (SPI) and its charitable arm, Sierra Pacific Foundation, has stood shoulder to shoulder with One SAFE Place (OSP) and Children's Legacy Center (CLC), providing steadfast support and championing their missions to create lasting change for victims of trauma in our community. This year, Sierra Pacific Foundation is stepping up once more, significantly increasing its commitment to supporting victims of trauma by offering a remarkable donation match.
Sierra Pacific Foundation’s matching challenge offers a unique opportunity for our community to double the impact of their contributions—every dollar raised by One SAFE Place and Children’s Legacy Center will be matched by the Foundation, up to $100,000.
Together, this partnership aims to amplify hope, expand essential services, and continue to be a beacon of light for those walking a path of healing. As OSP and CLC unite under a single banner, Arch Collaborative, Sierra Pacific Foundation’s match commitment signals their unwavering belief in a brighter, more resilient future for survivors. Community members can be a part of this initiative by making contributions that will be matched by the Foundation, multiplying their impact. Each donation, big or small, will be doubled in its ability to provide safety, advocacy, counseling, and hope for those facing the harsh realities of trauma and violence.

This partnership is evident not just in words but in spaces that have become symbols of hope and healing. The One SAFE Place Sierra Center at Benton Drive bears Sierra Pacific’s name—a testament to their significant financial contribution that allowed for the creation of a hub for critical domestic violence and sexual assault services. Similarly, the Arch Collaborative’s Center for Resilience—a beacon of trauma-informed behavioral health care—exists today because of a generous seed gift from the Sierra Pacific Foundation. The impact of their dedication can be seen in the lives touched, the traumas eased, and the futures made brighter thanks to these programs.
"Through Sierra Pacific Foundation's long-standing partnerships with One SAFE Place and the Children’s Legacy Center, we’ve seen firsthand how collaboration can transform lives and bring healing to those who need it most. With this matching challenge gift, we invite our community to join us in creating a better future, where survivors of trauma are met with the care and support they deserve."
- Carolyn Emmerson Dietz, President, Sierra Pacific Foundation
The transformative power of collaboration, deeply valued by both organizations, is not new for SPF. Time and time again, they have shown an unshakable commitment to supporting those who need it most. This latest gift ensures the ongoing work of providing holistic, trauma-informed care will be strengthened as CLC and OSP become a unified force for change.
To the Sierra Pacific Foundation, this is more than a charitable act; it’s a call to everyone in our community to rally together, creating a stronger, safer environment for survivors to heal and thrive.
We extend our deepest thanks to the Sierra Pacific Foundation for their ongoing partnership and generosity. To our community, we share an invitation; with your help and Foundation’s unwavering support, we can transform lives and ensure hope continues to thrive in our region.
